About Us
We believe that healthy families are the backbone of a healthy society. Many of America society's most difficult challenges arise from complications within the home as well as a failure to recognize the dignity of the work done there.
The Foundation for Family Flourishing exists to build a world where families are supported, honored, and empowered to thrive. We do this by clarifying policy, cultivating honest dialogue, recognizing and rewarding family-centered excellence, and advocating for structural reforms that prioritize the needs of parents and children.
Through bipartisan inquiry, public education, workplace consultation, and targeted financial support, we help families navigate a complex world—and help institutions become more worthy of them. We connect the best ideas, leaders, and initiatives across sectors to embed family flourishing into the very fabric of our society.

Our Approach

Policy Clarity
Translating policy into practical insight.
We track and unpack family-related legislation, programs, and incentives—translating legal and bureaucratic jargon into plain English. Our goal is to equip families, journalists, and lawmakers with the information they need to understand what’s working, what’s not, and why.

Rewarding Excellence
Scholarships for those building a better future.
We award microgrants and scholarships to mothers and fathers pursuing education, training, or creative projects that directly improve their family’s quality of life. We believe that investing in parents is investing in the next generation.

Bipartisan Inquiry
Truth-seeking beyond the culture war.
We convene public intellectuals and practitioners from across the political spectrum to engage in honest, good-faith dialogue about the challenges facing families today. FFF rejects the outrage economy and clickbait polarization in favor of substantive, solution-oriented conversation.

Advocacy and Consultation
For family-first workplaces and policies.
We advocate on behalf of parents in Washington, and we work directly with businesses, schools, and nonprofits to help them design family-friendly culture from the ground up. Flourishing families are not a fringe concern—they’re a structural necessity.

Recognizing Excellence
Spotlighting family-forward innovation.
We curate and publish a “Kelly Blue Book” of family-friendly institutions—from products and schools to public spaces and businesses. If it helps families thrive, we want people to know about it.

Building a Network of Support
Unifying the movement for family flourishing.
We connect the best of the best—charities, think tanks, businesses, and lawmakers—to share knowledge, resources, and strategy. Our goal is to embed a robust, family-centered infrastructure into the American body politic.
